Homeschool Competitive Baseball in Oklahoma City

The OKC Mets offer a Christian homeschool competitive baseball program for athletes in the greater Oklahoma City area. We offer programs from Junior High through High School for both homeschool or private school players who’s school doesn’t have a team. Our “School ball” programs play other local Christian, private, and public school ball programs from the local area. If you are looking for a program that promotes fundamentals, and personal development both in baseball and life, as well as a Gospel-centered organization we would love for you to join us.

We follow OSSAA rules for eligibility and competition. We offer a Spring schedule that runs from January through May, as well as a summer Red Dirt league schedule through June. We also offer fall camps and winter programs for both our Junior High and High School baseball programs. We have a talented and experienced staff with the goal of offering a program that builds character and virtues on and off the field. We currently practice in Moore, OK at the future home of our baseball and softball complex.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Article seven of our bylaws allow for athletes who attend private schools, that do not have a softball or baseball program for their age, to participate in the OKC Mets program.

  • You do not have to be a Christian to play in our program.  In full transparency, we are a Christian organization, we follow Christian beliefs, and we talk openly at all events about Jesus.  This includes praying before and after games, and holding each player to a standard as measured in the Christian faith.

  • We are always exploring ways to grow our organization.  Every year we reevaluate adding new sports, and adding new coaches to help develop those sports programs.

  • Our outdoor facilities are off 4th street in Moore, OK.  While weather allows this is where we hold home games and practices.  During months where the weather doesn’t allow we use an indoor in the Norman/Moore area.

  • The OKC Mets are run by a board of directors.  The board of directors has the overall oversight of the coaches, policies, and decisions of the organization.  The board currently consists of parents whose children are in the program. 

  • We are. If you are planning on using Epic funds to pay for your students participation in the Mets, please email us for a code to use to bypass payment on the form.
