High School Homeschool Baseball OKC

High School Baseball in Oklahoma City

The OKC Mets offer a Christian homeschool competitive baseball program for athletes in the greater Oklahoma City area. Our High School (9th-12th) program allows for homeschool, private school, and public school players to play who’s school doesn’t have a baseball team. Our “school ball” program plays other local Christian, private and public school ball programs from around the OKC metro area. If you are looking for a Junior High school ball program that promotes fundamentals, and personal development both in baseball and life, through the lens of a Gospel-centered organization, we would love for you to join us. For those looking to play collegiate baseball we have also placed multiple former OKC Mets in collegiate baseball programs.

We follow OSSAA rules for eligibility and competition. We offer a Spring schedule that runs from January through April, as well as a summer Red Dirt league schedule through June. We also offer fall camps and winter programs for both our Junior High and High School baseball programs. We have a talented and experienced staff with the goal of offering a program that builds character and virtues on and off the field. We currently practice in Moore, OK at the future home of our baseball and softball complex.

Program Information

Player Fees-

$1000 ($250 due by September 5th and remaining due by January 15th)

Fundraising-

All families of players will be required to sell an outfield banner per season prior to February 1st. The banner is $500 for the season, and the OKC Mets reserve the right to refuse any companies or products that don’t uphold the Christian message. (One banner per family)

Gate/Concession Volunteering-

Each family will be assigned either gate or concessions for the year. Our goal is to have each family only responsible for one position for one game per season. If you are unable to fulfill the date you are scheduled it is your responsibility to find someone to take your place and then communicate that in writing to: okcmets@gmail.com. A failure to show for your scheduled position will result in a $100 fine from the organization.  If you have no desire to fulfill your volunteering position you can buy out that responsibility for $100 at the start of the season.

Refund Late Fee and Other Policies-

If a player is injured, relocates, or is dismissed by the team prior to the start of the season 70% of the total fees will be refunded.  If a player is injured, relocates, or is dismissed from any OKC Mets team while the season is in progress there will be no refunds.

Any payment made 5 days or later after the payment deadline will result in a $25 late fee per occurrence and per player. No uniforms or play time will be offered to the players until payment is made in full.

Due to insurance liability all players must be registered prior to participating in practices or games, or they will not be able to participate in any OKC Mets practices, scrimmages, or drills. No uniforms will be purchased or handed out to any player who still has a balance. Uniforms and hats will be purchased on January 1st to ensure they will be present before the start of our regular season games.
