Competitive Baseball and Softball in OKC!

Since 2023 we have striven to provide a safe place for homeschool athletes, playing baseball and softball, to thrive through discipleship and excellence in the OKC metro area. If you are looking for competitive sports programs that are Jesus-centered we would love to meet you! As a competitive sports program we also practice developing players both in the home school sport they play, but also in their relationship with Christ. Homeschooling has become more popular in the Oklahoma City metro area, and through the Mets programs you can introduce your son or daughter to competitive sports. We have players from Edmond, Norman, Yukon, Purcell, Moore, Blanchard, OKC, Shawnee, Bethany and more!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Article seven of our bylaws allow for athletes who attend private schools, that do not have a softball or baseball program for their age, to participate in the OKC Mets program.

  • You do not have to be a Christian to play in our program.  In full transparency, we are a Christian organization, we follow Christian beliefs, and we talk openly at all events about Jesus.  This includes praying before and after games, and holding each player to a standard as measured in the Christian faith.

  • We are always exploring ways to grow our organization.  Every year we reevaluate adding new sports, and adding new coaches to help develop those sports programs.

  • Our outdoor facilities are off 4th street in Moore, OK.  While weather allows this is where we hold home games and practices.  During months where the weather doesn’t allow we use an indoor in the Norman/Moore area.

  • The OKC Mets are run by a board of directors.  The board of directors has the overall oversight of the coaches, policies, and decisions of the organization.  The board currently consists of parents whose children are in the program. 

  • We are. If you are planning on using Epic funds to pay for your students participation in the Mets, please email us for a code to use to bypass payment on the form.
